wickedcherub1. Isaac Newton once stuck a pin in his eye to see what it felt like and what the consequences were. And he didn't do any lasting damage to them. You'd think he'd know better. He also stared into the sun for as long as he could to see what would happen. He didn't do any lasting damage then either, just a few days in a dark room to recover. Maybe he had super eyes.
2. Saw Ocean's 13 last night and Adam commented on the slash potential. Hmm, maybe I have been spending too much time with him. Poor guy. I want hair like Ellen Barkin.
3. I'd make out with Matt Damon. Even in that nose.
4. 1% of the static you see on TV when you're not tuned in to the right channel is microwaves left over from the cosmic radiation from the big bang. So if there's nothing to watch on TV, you could always tune in to the birth of the universe.
5. I have a Pimps 'n' Hos party this Friday, and have given up going as a Japanese old world prosititute/geisha as it was too hard and will just slut it up with the rest of the people going. Except that my wardrobe is curiously devoid of anything revealing or sexy let alone trashy/slutty. YAY I AM NOT A HO. So I went to Savers yesterday (a big chain Op shop / thrift store) and found a short skirt for $6. Except I bargained it down to $3. ASIAN GENES FTW. I wonder if I just denied some poor family $3 though. :(
I now have fishnet stockings too and some bright red whoreish lipstick and now look like Robert Smith in drag. Or Courtney Love with black hair on a bad day. Ugh.
6. The pictures of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes with Suri at James Packer's wedding are cute.
7. Is it sad that I squealed when I saw Zac Efron in the trailer for Hairspray?
8. I have a ticket to see Patrick Wolf. YAAAAAAAAAAAAY.
9. Street children in Zambia are using Jenkem to get high. It causes hallucinations and dissociation and is made of fermented sewage/fecal matter from the open sewers in major towns. This, not so good.
10. Hershel discovered the first planet in the modern era in 1781. He wanted to call it George. (and he shall be mine?) . It became Uranus.
11. Are there not enough bad guy actors to go around that they have to recycle them for shows such as Heroes and Torchwood? Speaking of which, does this photo of Claire and Mr Bennet disturb anyone else?
12. I'm still confused by a lot of these new usernames on my friendslist. :\
13. I don't need a Death Note notebook from eBay that will cost me $20. What would I do with it?except stroke it and write particular names in it

15. The number of atoms in a mole, or rather, a mole of anything, is 6.02 x 10^23. Ish. So you know, that many hydrogen atoms is about 1gram. A mole is enough popcorn kernels to cover the entire United States to a depth of 9 miles. Or Coke cans, stacked evenly, to cover the Earth to 200 miles. Or enough pennies to make everyone on Earth a trillionaire. Kinda big, wouldn't you say.

- Apply lipstick with lipbrush

Date: 2007-06-21 02:08 pm (UTC)ok, Panic was set up because Nathan and jen wanted a place for music lovers to come hang out and not get hassled. you know, nice friendly place for people to dance and make friends.
and it was like that for a while but then it got popular and alot of walk ins came in just for the heavy drinking, then the drugs came in, then the fuckwits who wanted to hit on and harrass people, until it was more 'tool bags' than friendly people who came for the music.
so they decided to close it for a while and make it occasionally so its really only the people who enjoyed the music who'd come.
plus a few other things im not really allowed to discuss but MOSTLY what i just said.
oh no, ive had bad nachos, with minced cucumber in it and weird tasting chips and sorts. highly ungood.

they thought about a door policy for a while but then refused to do it because they didnt want it to be sort...exclusive or anything. they didnt want to turn away anyone unless they were complete retards. did you go those two nights they had one of those cord line things out the front? oh man, they were so embarrassed by that.
and security at the rochy isnt that great. some of the security are fantastic but sadly alot of the trouble makers were friends with the bouncers...so they were allowed in.
