I have an almost Pavlovian response to rain. In the early days of our relationship, rain meant that Adam couldn't go to work, so the entire day was spent having sex in front of the fire or under the covers. As soon as it gets cold and starts to rain, I start to get turned on.

I woke up yesterday morning to the sound of rain and I sleepily snuggled up to Adam's warm back and was feeling really good when I realised... hang on, I shouldn't be able to roll over and do this... OMG WHERE IS LIAM?

He'd cried during the night at about 3:00am so I got up and went to the toilet but by the time I came back he was quiet so I didn't want to risk going into his room.

Now it was 8:00am and omg, what if he stopped crying because he suffocated and what if he was dead this entire time and I DIDN'T KNOW?!

I rushed into his room to find him passed out in his cot omgomgomgomg and.. fast asleep. HE SLEPT THROUGH THE ENTIRE NIGHT. OH MY FREAKING GOD. I tried to tip toe back out back to Adam but no go, Liam heard me.

I didn't care so much for my missed sex because at FIFTEEN MONTHS OLD LIAM SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME.

AND HE DID IT LAST NIGHT TOO, SO IT WASN'T A FLUKE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THIS EXTRA SLEEP I'M GETTING. NO SPENDING HOURS IN THE NIGHT PATTING HIM BACK TO SLEEP. NO SPENDING THE WEE HOURS BRINGING HIM TO BED AND BEING KICKED IN THE HEAD. OMG. *cries with joy*
