I don't think Colin Morgan was on The Circle this morning. I missed the first 15 minutes then sat through 1 hr 45 minutes of infomercials (the eGlide hair removal thing sounded too good to be true) and cooking and bad music for nothing. As far as those sorts of shows go though, I don't mind it. I like the presenters.

eta: they're claiming traffic issues again for his no-show.. Haha, I don't believe it for a second. There's no traffic in Brisbane.

I've dipped my feet back into the Sherlock BBC fandom. One of my favourite things in the world is finding that your favourite authors from previous fandoms now write in your new ones. I fear that [livejournal.com profile] ivyblossom's The Progress of Sherlock has now ruined me for all other Sherlock fic because that is now my new headcanon.

It's a pity I dislike Morgana so much. Seeing all the Merlin/Morgana stuff on my Tumblr has made me really yearn for a good enemy pairing. Enemy pairings are definitely my favourite thing. Screw all this bffs forever stuff, give me some good hatesex. It's been forever since I've read a het enemy pairing, and I've never ever read one where the 'bad guy' was female. Why can't I overcome my dislike for her?! Sometimes it even spills over into a dislike for Katie McGrath and honestly, there's nothing to dislike about Katie McGrath.

For the first time ever, I fast forwarded my way through most of Glee. Why is the show so mean now? It's just really hateful.

Haha I love the Circle! Partially because I know Nick LOATHES it but also because I find Chrissie Swan to be hilarious.

I love Chrissie Swan. She's on the radio every day at 3pm and is the only female radio personality on commercial radio that isn't whiny and trying to harp on about how much of a woman they are. Maybe because her co presenter is Yumi and not male.

Adam hates The Circle because he thinks it's a show that tells woman all they should care about is celeb gossip, parenting, dieting and hair removal. But seriously, if they had a show like that for men, it'd be just as vacuous.

The infomercials are hilarious though, some of the shit they sell is just magnificently useless. "Buy this shit!" "no, buy this shit!" "WAIT BUY THIS" And usually I'm sitting there hungover watching blankly going "wait what can someone get me some pizza?"

I like Yumi too! And the other lady that had a baby relatively recently.

AHaha today there was Stem Cell Anti Wrinkle cream. The Stem Cells came from some form of apple! They had two apples sliced in half, one which was going brown, and the super duper species of apple that wasn't! OMG BECAUSE IT DOESN'T GROW OLD.

BECAUSE APPLES BROWN BECAUSE THEY GROW OLD. NOT BECAUSE OF ANY REACTION TO THE OXYGEN IN THE AIR.

And using this super duper non-growing-old apple, it can smooth out wrinkles, remove rosela, and increase collagen and elasticity! ZOMG.

One of those stupid creams actually works! i can't remember the name of it but my mum bought it and it actually works as a temporary 'spaccy filler' for wrinkles and makes them go away. The downside? It makes your skin feel like is being stretched. But I was actually amazed. Wrinkle Venom? Some random shit! My brother got stoned and bought it for some reason from some late night shopping program because buying anti-wrinkle cream for your 50yo mother is a good birthday present. But she used it and it actually worked, lol.

APPLE STEM CELLS. No wonder that apple in my kitchen has lasted two months- couldn't have been irradiated or anything

Aww, Merlin/Morgana is great! And Morgana isn't terrible, you just need to pretend she actually got a decent character arc. ... okay, yeah, that might be a bit hard to do.

I think I like the idea of her character more than the actual reality of her character. I try not too think too hard about how terribly the show handled her.
