quick Merlin ramblings

- I've started to leave feedback for all the fic I've been reading on my Kindle. I've obviously started with the most popular fics, because I go to leave a comment and there are already 400+comments! Makes me feel a bit redundant, but I guess it's nice to hear that someone's still reading even two years down the track.

Feels silly but I'm much more likely to leave detailed feedback if I see that the writer comments on feedback. Even if it's just a 'thanks!'. I've also wanted to leave constructive criticism a few times but decided against it - it doesn't seem like anyone does that anymore, plus what's the point when the fic is years old?

- I watched The Real Merlin and Arthur for the first time last night. What a load of fanservice that was - I don't think I learnt anything about Merlin or Arthur. Just an excuse for me to laugh at their tardiness and imagine Bradley in a shower. I also watched S3 quests and that was cute.

- I was looking at Colin Morgan's profile at his agency website last night and they have a clip of him doing a voiceover for a Vodafone commercial. Cannot stop laughing at Merlin saying 'your messages can go on, and on, and on, and on...' but then it just gets a bit sexual and I'm confused.

- First time I've joined a fandom where I'm equally attracted to both the characters I'm shipping. Usually I'll like *one* character and happy to ship him or her with a primary partner, or anyone else. I'm not interested in Arthur or Merlin with anyone else. I thought I was in this just for Colin Morgan and his breathtaking smile but I'm finding Bradley's dork face more attractive every day. It's kind of doing my head in. I watched a clip of Bradley playing soccer and just his physicality.. guh.

I THOUGHT I WAS OVER THIS SORT OF OBSESSION WITH ACTORS. I hope it doesn't get much worse. I don't know how anyone else deals with it, but it's really unhealthy with me.

- I watched so many extra type things last night that I sort of can't unsee Colin and Bradley when I'm watching Merlin. Hopefully I can shake that.

- Season 4 trailer came out last night. I may have watched it 5 times in a row, but no matter how many times I watch it, it doesn't get any longer hahahaha :D It's amazing, quite frankly.

First author's love a quick note, even (especially?) on older fics. It makes my day anytime someone dregs up a fic I thought the world forgot about. :D

Haha yeah, I've left comments, whether short or long, on everything I've read now. This fandom has a *lot* of very long fic. I've been going through your recs list - you're a very good reccer, your explanations/descriptions are spot on and I know exactly which ones I'd like and which ones I'd best avoid.

I'd been meaning to watch them for a while now, last night was the first night I had the computer to myself for any length of time since my son was born!

I'm glad my rambling recs are helpful. Honestly, I do wonder if anyone actually reads the 'why' bit so I'm thrilled that it helps you decide the fic to want. :)

and yeah - I just sat in my quiet house and laughed my ass off yesterday. it felt wonderful.
