wickedcherubI watched Glee last night.
- I really liked that Unpretty/I feel Pretty mashup
- Darren Criss has managed to make me like a whole bunch of my MOST REVILED SONGS. 'Hey Soul Sister' used to make me feel physically ill when I heard it on the radio but now I kinda like it. I hated Teenage Dream, and that Raise Your Glass song and fuck I hate Keane, but they keep giving Blaine all those shitty songs and he keeps making them wonderful.
- I love Cory Monteith. I love Finn - he's so unlike every quarterback in any other show/movie I've ever watched. Cory's dorky dancing was so perfect. It must have been hard for Finn to dance like that in front of everyone, including girls, (boys at boys schools dance badly all the time, see Dalton Academy).
- I know that they always chuck in After School Special type morals into Glee, but that stuff that Tina (hee) said about not having any Asian female role models in the media resounded with me, even if it was a bit tacked on.
- I also like it when they let Tina sing. She has an awesomely sweet voice (remember True Colours in the first season?) but they're always cutting her songs short. So glad she got to sing in Born This Way.
- How is 'I like Boys' something that Kurt dislikes about himself? awesome tee though.
- Of all the stuff Will hates about himself, it's his Butt chin? wtf? I almost smashed the TV while he was torturing Emma with the blueberries. THAT'S NOT HOW YOU REHABILITATE SOMEONE YOU CREEPY MAN.
- Episodes are a million times better without Sue.
- Puck's tee was the best.
- I like the Santana storyline, but what the hell with her being a lesbian? So every single guy she's been with - she wasn't attracted to any of them?
- I like Brittany's convo with her though.
- I did like the fact that Artie hates his glasses more than his legs.
- I still feel like Quinn's character is inconsistent.
- That Barbra Streisand song was useless but fun. Also, I'm still upset that it's basically the same song as the Boney M original, except with the line 'Barba Streisand' added.
- Kurt's song was okay - sung well, but overly long.
- and what the hell with Mercedes's tee? Srsly why do they hate her so much.
- I really hate what they're doing with Sam. Okay, so they brought him in so that he could be Kurt's boyfriend, right, it was interesting then, you know, he lightened his hair etc. Then they found out he had more chemistry with Quinn (which he did, it was cool) so they got them two together, but that got really boring. Then they had him try and fight Finn for Quarterback position, and that's been it. Oh, and the Bieber thing, which was kinda useless. He's got an ok voice, they should let him sing, and I don't know, develop a personality or something.

Lesbians can kiss boys and be attracted to them (I had crushes on boys when I was teenager before I realised I preferred girls. Social conditioning can be a hard thing to shake when it turns out it's not your cup of tea), particularly when teenagers are still figuring out what the hell is going on. Glee's explanation is that Santana has been repressing her feelings for Brittany pretty hard for fear of other people's reactions, which to me makes her actions with the guys understandable.
