Aunt: So, have you and Adam gotten close yet since the baby?
Me-thinks: oh wow, that's a bit personal!
Me: Yeah, I waited until 2 months because mum told me to. (not true)
Aunt: Omg, how much did it hurt! It hurt so much didn't it!
Me: Yeah, a little bit. Not as much as they told me it would. Not as much as the very first time.
Aunt: What first time? Oh, like the first time when you get married?
Me: ... Yeah. When you lose your virginity when you get married.
Aunt: Nothing is as bad as that! I was so horrified your uncle had to chase me around the bed so I went downstairs to sleep on the couch and we didn't try it for a month.

I can't decide whether "funny" or "sad" is the prevailing emotional response there. :P

She has two beautiful boys so it must have worked eventually, right? Or at least twice.

You should have heard the conversation we had two years ago about marital contraception:

Yeah, she's sort of like a sister-aunt to me. Remember her contraception talk?

heh, gotta love big viet families. oddly enough, that sounds a lot like conversations I've had with my aunts.

my youngest aunt is 35 (I'm 34). Her kids are 10 and 3, so Samuel has to call her 3 year old "chi" even though he's older than her.

Haha yeah, my aunt has nephews that are older than she is :\

I asked my grandma why she had so many kids over such a long timeframe and she was just 'I didn't know! No one told me anything!' My poor grandma had no idea that sex created children, nor did she know anything about contraception.

yeah, my ba noi had 13 kids, but only 7 are still living. my father would have been the oldest at 56, but he died a few months after I was born. my ba ngoai only had four kids - all girls! it's crazy.
