I got a new Sony Ericsson phone. It is brown and really hot.
I'm on a wedding planner kick today. I think I've got a makeup person now and am deciding on a Vietnamese dress. Which I'm still way more excited about than my white gown. I'm going to spend some time looking at nice gardens next, in which to get married in, yay.
Yesterday evening Adam and I had a barbeque in the backyard with his family and friends. It was really nice, we had a bonfire going, some of those citronella firesticks glowing, I made chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce and some prawn + pineapple skewers. There was lots of food, and well, I don't ever entertain at my parents' home, so it was really nice to have people over at a place that was 'mine' and a party that was 'mine'. Okay so I don't live with Adam yet, but it just means that I don't sleep there and I got a lot of compliments with what I've done with the house, and all the credit for Adam doing awesome things with the yard. :p
Adam had his car stolen from in front of his parents' house yesterday - and it's a cheap car, so we were all stressing about the inconvenience than anything else. That and my good shoes were in the car, and his expensive basketball, and perhaps his second best suit, etc etc. It kind of dampened the mood of the barbeque a bit, but as it was winding up, we got a call from the police to say that the car had been recovered, 30 minutes away, and when we got there, it was in perfect condition.
They didn't take anything from the car - not even the CD player. Oh, they took all the coins in the coin tray though and used up all the gas, but it's a bit odd. But terribly relieving :)
It's our one-year anniversary type thing today - the one you have when you're still dating. We're counting it from the first kiss and trying to ignore the fact that I really did just hop into bed with him a few minutes after. And well, after this year, we'll only have the wedding anniversary, and Adam might actually remember that one.

That'd be awesome!
Yeah, I am not sure where we'd find the money for a new car. So glad we got it back.
