I have been so blah lately. I took the kids to the beach yesterday, as I'm trying my best not to let life pass me by by just lying on the couch scrolling through twitter. It helped only marginally though.

Adam and I also went on a picnic with his mates Marcella and Chris and that was also lovely, just to get out and see people and talk absolute shit. It really drove home that I don't have any friends within a 10km radius though. I'd love to have a friend I could just say 'hey can I drop by/wanna catch up' and it doesn't have to be a huge PLAN. Marcella often (when allowed by lockdowns) just drops by our house and it's so nice?

How to make new friends. I want.. like.. the opposite of Hot Singles in my area.

Kids go back to school the week after next which is AMAZING because my kids have had it, but i'm so concerned about covid you have no idea. I really really want my kids vaxxed, please scientists workworkwork

I've been playing a lot of The Witness, I do enjoy a game where I can just wander around a beautiful landscape and nothing is attacking me and I can just discover puzzles and solve them at my own pace.

I finished Squid Game.. not too sure about the ending. I found out there was a Vietnamese dub though and it sounded not bad! At least Vietnamese is able to match the mouths a little better than English. I've recommended it to my Dad, my mum was all 'ooh i love kdramas!' but I quickly told her that it wasn't for her haha

We watched Ant Man last night, I hadn't seen that one either. Gosh Paul Rudd is so good looking. Adam doesn't understand cos he only sees Paul Rudd has a comic, but some of us grew up the 90s and he was in Clueless and in Romeo + Juliet and he hasn't changed a bit

Run BTS has finished (for now) and it's really made me a bit teary. I'm really glad that they acknowledged that after music and their concerts, Run BTS was their third big tentpole and important to their success and a product they needed to serve their fans. I think they were all a bit tired and maybe running out of ideas? I mean after 155 episodes, how many different games and challenges can they possibly do.
