Liam has become a food monster over the past few weeks. It's good, I've always been so worried about his growth. Now every time I see him he's holding an apple or a yoghurt or made himself some easy mac (sure not the healthiest but I just like that he's eating). He's also growing quite a healthy moustache lol I don't want him to feel particularly self conscious about puberty so I just told him whenever he feels like he wants to shave it, we'll sort it out. I'm sure high school will expect him to, in 2023.

Adam came back from his mole map and they had six moles that they want to monitor, so he has to go back in three months time. I'm glad we've had it done, he's a particularly freckly boi and I know he spent so many years being a bricklayer and not caring much about sunscreen.

So Oculus Support emailed me a label I can use to Fedex the oculus to Hong Kong (!). Which would be easy if I like.. owned a printer and wasn't in lockdown. What a drag. We're never going to get a replacement at this rate.

It's going to be mandatory to be vaccinated before you're allowed to work in the office, I'm sure. This is going to cause a bit of friction between my co workers which is blaaah. I'm currently immuno compromised because of the drugs I'm taking for the psoriasis and though I'm desperate to be back in the office I don't know if it's going to be a good call for me yet.

My fam finished watching Avengers: Age of Ultron and Adam kept remarking on all the boobs. Every female character had ample cleavage, even the extras and he wondered if they had gotten a new director. Turns out it was Joss Whedon *rolls eyes*

I don't hate the idea of Hawkeye having a family as much as everyone else, except that I definitely wouldn't be married to him? Having a husband constantly go off and risk his life for other people is not my jam. I definitely wouldn't have three kids with him anyhow. Their house was beautiful though.

I also don't hate Natasha/Bruce as much as people seem to. It *is* annoying that they felt that they had to give Natasha a love story given she's the only woman avenger (well plus Wanda now, and well she gets to hook up too)


I finished Dark Rise and I have MANY THOUGHTS, so it will have to be its own post I think.

I finally convinced Adam to watch Squid Game with me. He hasn't really been in the mood for anything dark and serious or for subtitles, which I get. We've just finished episode 3 and it turns out I do know more Korean than I thought I did. I was also a bit wary of watching the show because I'm a weenie and I thought it would be full scale Saw type torture/psychological horror but while the premise is disturbing it hasn't been quite so awful.
Adam did *not* enjoy the protagonist being a bad father and a bad son and just a bad guy in general and is actively rooting for his death so I'm not sure how the rest of the show is going to go.

I am really liking being able to watch this show at a similar time as so many other people. In a way I have missed having a mono culture.
