We do work and come home and occasionally have a clean house and good meals, but most often it looks like this disgusting mess. I have a new theory though:
Children often rebel against their upbringing in some sense. So, if I make them grow up in a disgusting mess, they will grow up to be clean and well organized individuals. Therefore, I must carry on...because I love my children.
Seriously though, I don't dislike cleaning for the most part, I just can't do it. Like when I was a teenager on a cabin trip with other kids who saw me cleaning when it was my turn and started laughing at my methods. I think my cleaning development stopped somewhere around hosing off my feet before coming inside.

So at least you're not stuck there.
