Liam had his cousin Tilly's 2nd birthday party today. It was a pre-bedtime pyjama party (everyone had gone home by 6) and it was lots of fun. Lots of little kids and their parents all in pyjamas :D
Tilly (and most kids I know) really adores the Giggle and Hoot pre-bedtime TV show here, so it was Giggle and Hoot themed.

Here's Liam in his pyjamas and slippers all ready to go.

Some of the food on offer - the vegies and dip cups were a great idea to stop kids from double dipping. The little individual orange juices were also cute. As were the cake balls. My sister in law had made a lot of no-allergens food for one guest who was coming who then never arrived! We were quite annoyed then found out they were in a car accident (no one was hurt) so didn't we feel like bitches.

Chocolate crackles and Honey Joys and button shaped gingerbread and milk! Also lots of fruit and some savoury things like sausage rolls and I had made some springrolls.

The banner with the party favours. My SIL made playdough for everyone to take home, as well as bubbles and some cake-pops (cake on a stick?) shaped like Hoot! They looked incredible.

The party before most of the little boys arrived. Little table and chairs were hired for maybe $50? Cheap. Check out Liam trying to be a big boy at the table eating apricots with everyone else.

Haha it's Adam! My SIL joined the toy library and borrowed a number of large toys for the party, including this tunnel thing. Adam thought it would be funny to walk around inside it and pop out at kids. Luckily they also found it funny.

My other SIL Chloe made a Hoot cake! Pretty awesome. Which is the cake, which is the plush toy?

Liam all relaxed, eating his cucumber and avocado dip. Oh the table manners of the boy!
I have photos of the birthday girl and of the cake cutting etc, but they're terrible. Will have to wait what my SIL took.
