Day 13 - Favorite childhood show
At what point in my childhood?
I used to be really obsessed with a show called Young Talent Time when I was four. It was on on Friday evenings and I got to stay up until 8:30pm on Fridays just to watch it!! It was basically a bunch of kids performing songs and stuff - a bit like The Mickey Mouse Club, I suppose. My favourite was Tina Arena because her name was Tina as well. Oh, and Dannii Minogue, of course. One year my mother took me to see the live show and it BLEW MY MIND. I had no idea that the people inside the TV were real. I thought they were just... created for TV, like a cartoon or something.

I was also heavily into The Smurfs, Captain Planet and when I was 10 - Beverley Hills 90210.

OH. Okay, also, I think the show I watched the most when I was in primary school was an odd show called T-Bag. It was a children's live action show which involved time travel, and collecting a series of objects and it kind of scared the crap out of me. I think I ended up with a crush on T-Shirt, the only character that remained consistent through all the different series'. Did anyone else watch this?

Just wanted to mark today as the first day Liam took notice of Toby as a fellow human being.

This morning Toby seemed to be sleeping soundly so I snuck out to take a shower. Liam likes to hang out in the bathroom when I do. Today he looked at me and said, "Toby crying." I shut off the water and he was crying - or mad screaming rather. I told liam to go turn on the light and give Toby a cuddle, and he did. I fully expected him to say no, like he usually does. By the time I got to the bedroom, Toby was smiley and liam looked pleased :)

This evening Adam was off playing basketball, so I had Toby with me while going through Liam's bedtime ritual. Toby hit the blind by accident, which liam thought was funny, so liam hit it again, which they both thought was funny.

Then liam turned off and on the lamp which sent Toby off into he biggest fit of giggles he's ever had. I guess it was like peekaboo. Which set liam off, so they spent 10 minutes peekaboo giggling until liam could barely breathe. I didn't have the heart to tell him not to play with the lamp.

Then when it was time to say goodnight, Liam wanted Toby in his precious bed with him! I worry that liam will one day smother him with the quilt, playing peekaboo.

It's nice that not having Toby completely ignored for a change.
