Usually on Thursdays I drop Liam off at my MIL's to go to uni. He woke up really early this morning, so my MIL came to pick him up while she did her school run (so I could have a few more hours and get some homework done).

When I drop him off, it usually takes me a good 15-20 minutes to actually leave him. Today, I just put him in a car and he left *me* and I wasn't ready yet, even though I had kissed him and waved to him.

How completely ridiculous of me.

You'd think I didn't get sick of being with him 24/7 every evening with my 'OH ADAM WILL YOU JUST TAKE HIM OFF ME SO I CAN BE ALONE FOR 5 MINUTES'.

Okay, so I don't know anyone who still reads the NME, but I have boxes and boxes of them still at my parents' house circa 2005.
I've become an old fogie in my motherhood and have no idea what the young folks are listening to anymore. I had a look at this list, and since it *is* the last 15 years, I know and like most of these songs.

I have so many of them taped on VHS from the TV. I swear I was still doing that in 2005, maybe 2006. That wasn't *that* long ago, was it? I don't even have a VHS player anymore. I have a lot of them on DVD-rom as well, sent to me from strangers overseas, because it would take me eons to download a video on 56kb/s dialup internet. I used to have the internet running all night, just to download a measly 3 minute interview clip. It would disconnect everytime someone went to make a phone call, and it meant no one could actually call my house :D

ALL YOU NEW FANDOM FOLKS YOU DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD YOU'VE GOT IT WITH THIS NEW FAN DANGLED YOUTUBE BUSINESS.

Anyway, onto the songs. Gonna go look up the ones I don't know. Am really pleased to see Blur's 'Out of Time' on the list. I think it's overlooked quite often.
