Mar. 11th, 2011 09:37 amI'm going to uni for the first time since I had Liam today.
I had organised for Liam to stay with my MIL but she's in New Zealand this week, and my SIL can't take him because her 8 month son came down with tonsillitis (poor kid) and my other SIL is 39 weeks pregnant with a 2 year old so I didn't want to bother her even though she offered.
So he's staying with my mother, who fortuitously had the day off today.
I think he could tell that he's being left somewhere today because yesterday he was *so* clingy. He wouldn't let Adam or I put him down at all, and usually he's happy playing on his mat for up to an hour. I even had to bring him to bed with me last night because he freaked out every time I put him in his cot.
He also refused milk from the bottle last night so I think I'm just going to come home early to feed him, and we'll work on it during the week in time for uni next week.
I'm going to be a mess. I know it's my mum, not a stranger but MY BABY IS GOING SOMEWHERE WITHOUT ME.
