May. 9th, 2009 06:01 pm+ Teaching is so much fun. So much learning too. I'm glad I decided I wanted to do this.
+ Star Trek was fucking amazing. I've never seen an episode of Star Trek in my life but this movie made me grin like a madman and made my heart ache for *my* fandoms. I hope that some day in the future someone is allowed to reboot the Star Wars series and reboot it just as well. Adam woried that they wouldn't get Kirk right, but he was happy with Chris Pine, so yay. We came home from the movie and Adam suddenly to me and said 'There is no slash between Kirk and Spock so don't you even dare.' Dude. I thought Kirk/Spock was where the slash term *came from*.
+ Adam just painted one of the walls in my study entirely with blackboard paint. It is awesome.
+ I have a t-shirt that reads 'I want to blow your stimulus package' but I have nowhere to wear it.
- No real minuses I can think of.
