hi everyone I had a baby

I think it's about time I started using this again. I've been reading all your posts, but I haven't added anyone new for a while and everyone's sort of moved on.

I'm still currently on Twitter as @tinadearing, on Tumblr at wickedcherub.tumblr.com and on Facebook as Tina Dearing.

What has happened since I last posted? Oh, I had a baby! His name is Liam Minh Khoa and he has pretty much taken over my life. The first 8 weeks were the hardest of my life. I cried a lot and was overwhelmed a lot and there were days (many) in which Liam wouldn't stop crying unless I was holding him and wouldn't sleep unless I was holding him, so I was just stuck to the couch until Adam came home from work after which I could eat and pee and shower. :( It's placed a strain on our marriage (which we're both completely aware of, so we try to take time for just each other).

But things are much better now so I have some time to start posting again! I'm halfway through writing my birth story so I will post that when it's done.

I'm sure there will be more interesting things to post about as I get into the swing of things again and perhaps add more people who are actually interested in babies. :D

So cute! Congrats and much strength to you! It's things like not being able to go to the bathroom all day that one never thinks about but is hell when it happens, especially since new parents need streams of coffee to survive. :p
