Tina! I'm sorry to hear about Aunt Jenny on account of her being Adam's favorite aunt, but maybe not as sorry to hear about it on account of her mistreatment of your mother-in-law. These situations are always so strange.

I've really gotten back into film photography this year. I feel like going through the photo boxes as a task/chore/funeral prep/whatever is one common thread through all of my familial losses—and having them physically in my hands always makes me think I want to take more photos, too. Over the summer when I was at my workshop I got a bunch of disposable cameras and just went nuts, and it was really wonderful to come home and get them developed and then have those memories immortalized... it just doesn't hit the same as a quick pic on your phone. Highly recommend.
