I don't understand your parents. First your dad kicks you and your brother out and now he's offended because you said you'd actually go? How is that fair? What about your feelings? Maybe you should remind him that he's the one who blindsided you with this in the first place, and if he didn't mean it then maybe he shouldn't say it.
