Turns out that I can barely juggle this Being a Mum to Two Children AND Being a Person, if everything goes to plan. Like, if Toby sleeps at the times he's supposed to and Liam doesn't give up naps, or if they don't get sick, or if Adam doesn't have a bad day at work and can't move himself from the couch in the evenings.

If everything doesn't go to plan, then the whole thing topples over and things just pile up and I'm drowning under a mountain of chores again. This weekend, I told Adam that I wasn't going to do any chores so that we could go out and have a nice day trip like a family because we never ever go out anywhere. We had a lovely time, but I still haven't caught up on any of the chores :(

Toby has been sniffly and waking up every hour at night because he can't breathe for a week now and I'm zombie-fied. Liam's got Hand Foot and Mouth, so today he was supposed to go to daycare and it was supposed to be my day to catch up on everything but now nope.

It's funny, I try and cultivate some semblance of 'yeah, being a mum is AWESOME and I am AWESOME at it' on Facebook - like some curated version of my life 'here are all the good bits!' then I come on here and just vomit out my failures.

I've started to use instagram - I'm here, if you want to friend me: http://instagram.com/tinadearing

Thought I'd do this meme, so that I have something slightly fannish to write about every day.

Day 01 - A show that should never have been canceled
I don't think I've ever watched a show that's been cancelled before it started to go downhill. I remember being upset in highschool that they had axed Ned and Stacey simply because it had ended on a cliffhanger.
Oh! I know. Young Americans. It was a spin off from Dawson's Creek that involved boarding schools, rowing, and Katherine Moenig pretending to be a boy. It only lasted like, 8 episodes but I loved it so much. It had Ian Somerhalder and Kate Bosworth and Charlie Hunnam! It would have had such a fandom I think, if it had lasted.

I really really wish there was a category on Ao3 for 'main relationship', you know, along with 'fandom', 'rating' etc.

So that if I wanted to read say, a One Direction Louis/Liam story, I could find one, instead of sifting through a million Harry/Nick stories where Louis and Liam just happen to be together in the background.

God knows how anyone who wants to read a story *about* Gwen and Lancelot actually find any fic to read.

Does anyone know if there's a list of things the Ao3 team are working on? Or if there's a suggestion box?
